The Texas Reds Festival will be held on September 27-28th in Historic Downtown Bryan.

This festival is Bryan's signature event! Texas Reds Festival was first launched in 2007 to bring food, arts, and tourism to the city of Bryan. Since then, more than 25,000 people have attended. 

Have fun with family and friends while you shop along Main Street and discover some amazing restaurants.
Enjoy live music with six stages where local and regional bands will be playing.

 So last week I explored a new store in Bryan (well new to me anyway) chocked FULL of every kind of door and drawer knob, drawer pull, corbel, moulding, trim board, and home hardware imaginable! 

 Alco Sales has been around for almost a quarter of a century but is now under new ownership, and soon to be in a new location this winter!  Co-owners Jessie Taylor and Larry Roderick are expanding to make their products more accessible and shopping easier!

First yell for kids. At approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes before kick off, the Yell Leaders will conduct a Yell Practice designed especially for kids. It will happen near the Aggie Ring at the Association of Former Students building (on George Bush Dr.).

Spirit Walk. At approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes before kick off, the Aggie football team will arrive at the Association of Former Students building and will walk down Houston Street to its locker room located at Bright Complex. Leading the way will be the Aggie Band and it is a great opportunity for fans to show support to the football team just hours before they take to the field.

Helping Hands needs your assistance to raise money at their Wounded Warrior Benefit on Aug 30, 2014 at the Burleson County Expo Center.Due to the advances in military body armor as well as medical techniques provided in the field, more and more injured soldiers are surviving what would have previously been life-ending injuries.  When they come back to the states after combat, they need assistance with their physical and mental recovery.  That's why the Wounded Warrior Project was created.  To help them continue their efforts, please attend the Bryan-College Station Wounded Warrior Benefit 2014 on Saturday, August 30th at the Burleson County Expo Center.
