Proceeds from the 2016 Greens Prairie Elementary Rodeo and BBQ Cook-Off will be used to help fund school programs, teacher grants and fill other needs.Rodeos are usually filled with cowboys on the backs of 2000-lb bulls.  Did you know you could have a rodeo without any actual cowboys?  Or bulls?  The 2016 Greens Prairie Elementary Rodeo and BBQ Cook-Off doesn't have either of those things.  However, the Mustangs still know how to show their guests a good time!

I used to think sustainability and going green meant recycling. Then I moved to North Carolina and worked for Appalachian State University. I learned very quickly Iwas wrong.  During my first week of work, I was invited to attend an area wide meeting given by the Office of University Sustainability.  I figured I had better attend being as that one, I was new and from Texas; two, I didn’t care about sustainability; three, I knew nothing about it; and four, it was all I had heard about since arriving and I had better learn about it.

There are two 2016 College Station Easter Egg Hunts to choose from this weekend. But you also have options in Bryan and Caldwell if you would prefer.This Sunday is Easter Sunday.  This is the Easter Bunny's busiest time of the year.  He's making a mad dash to get all the eggs dyed and ready to go.  There are two different 2016 College Station Easter Egg Hunts this weekend where the kids can practice their egg hunting skills.
