It’s September which means two things. Students are stressing over the semester and it's the beginning of Fightin’ Texas Aggie Football. If you know anything about Texas A&M University and their Aggies, then you know that football is EVERYTHING to them because it's more than just a game, it's a way of life. Game weekends are multifaceted and in order to get the full experience, there’s a few steps you should take.

Attend Midnight Yell

This is the most important thing you may do in preparation for game day. The Yell Leaders will help you in making sure you know all the yells for the game. The last thing you want to do is get caught not knowing the yell, that’s bad bull.

The Texas Reds Festival is celebrating it’s tenth year this year. The festival will take place September 23- 25 in Downtown Bryan and will showcase live music talents, Texas wine and beer, and steak and fixins. We’ve compiled a short list of some activities that will be available at this year’s Texas Reds.

Live Music

The festival highlights musical performances on four stages: the KBTX Stage, the iHeart Media Stage, The palace, and the Acoustic Cafe. Performers include Ray Wylie Hubbard, Ian Moore, Roxy Roca, Nathan Wells, and Ben Morris. A full detailed schedule of performers can be found on the Texas Reds website.

Wine & Beer

Event Name: Tarzan: Myth & Mystery

Date: July 12th- October 29th

Location: Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History

This exclusive exhibit showcases items from an extensive collection of Tarzan and Edgar Rice Burroughs memorabilia. Early publications, beautiful original artwork, rare books, and rarely seen film posters will be shown alongside stunning taxidermy animals from central Africa. Through this colorful and exciting exhibit, visitors can explore the natural settings of the Tarzan books, the life of author Edgar Rice Burroughs, the bold world of pulp art, Tarzan's international appeal, and other related topics.

It is now mid summer which is harvest season and that means it's time for the 39th Annual Messina Hof’s Harvest Festival! This festival is several weeks long and each day is there is different activities than the prior day.

The festival mostly takes place at the main Bryan location, but also several weekends during the festival there will be events taking place the Fredericksburg and Grapevine locations. Bring the whole family out for some summer fun down at the winery!
